rach and dani

Fast friends and project partners since their journey through culinary school together in Seattle in 2022, Rachel and Danika have begun to showcase their work as chefs through a pop-up bakery and tasting menu. Rachel has cooked at Cedar and Elm at The Lodge in Kenmore, WA, as well as Tarts De Feybesse in Oakland, CA. Danika has worked at Canlis Restaurant in Seattle, WA, as a lead server and line cook.

Over the last 6 months, Danika has spent her time on outreach in the South Pacific, serving the communities there and absorbing knowledge in Australia, Papua New Guinea, and New Zealand. She is excited to share the native ingredients of these lands through her creative expression as a chef, as well as shed some light on the ways we can be supporting those in need in PNG. If you are curious about her time abroad, she would love to share with you! Come visit us during bakery hours listed on our contact page.

our

mission

Hospitality is far more than making good food and serving it hot. Hospitality is about relationship. While we hold the highest care for the quality of our food, it pales in comparison to the value of relationship and caring for others' hearts. It's our goal to care for you not just with delicious food and a warm atmosphere but with compassion, truth, and a listening ear. We hope our bakery can be a meeting place for relationship and thoughtful conversation. We want to encourage others in their walk through life and help guide them towards the best path for them. We also invite you to join us in support of families in Papua New Guinea that are spending their lives serving in their communities. The mark these people have left on my heart by their boundless generosity, despite their meager possessions, has changed the way I look at hospitality forever.

If you'd like to learn more about my friends in PNG and how you can support them, come visit the bakery or contact me (Danika) via phone or email.
